Now that’s Dedication!

We are continuing to build our new house and have not had the best luck with weather.  It has been extremely wet/rainy and this has delayed many things along the way.  Right now, we have a basement, 1st floor and yesterday the crew was working on laying down the floor for the 2nd floor.  As you can see in the photos and video, it was snowing – a rare site here – and VERY cold.  But our crew was still out there working.  I drove by after getting off work and fully expected there to be no one there.  To my surprise they were not only there, but still working hard despite the snow.

We had heard wonderful things about our builder from others and that is why we chose him.  He is a perfectionist and we have heard that he has done things like totally taken out the crown molding for a room because one angle was a little off.  Or take out the granite counter tops because the seems were a little off.  It may take a little longer for our house to be built, but I know it will be RIGHT.  I don’t have anything to worry about there!  His hard dedication and work ethic are a rare find in this day and age!

So today, our builder is my favorite!

    1. Thanks! We can hardly wait!! We sold our house a year and a half ago and have been renting a house, with most of our things in storage. Its been like camping for a year and a half! Can’t wait to live like a normal person again and be able to find things!!
